Personal Finance Company was founded as Model Finance Company in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1937. During the next 30-plus years, we operated as a small, closely held company with offices in Illinois and Indiana.
In 1971, we were acquired by Securian Financial Group. Shortly after, we changed our name to Personal Finance Company – clearly identifying our commitment to meeting the individual needs of our customers.
Since then, we have continued to expand our company into more communities. Currently PFC maintains 37 offices in Illinois, 42 offices in Indiana, 26 offices in Kentucky and 5 offices in Missouri.
